How can a fan of watching a Gas-Guzzling engine on four wheels be considered a protector of the environment? If you can ask these questions, then you have never been to a NASCAR Race. Sure fans come to see their favorite drivers do battle with each other, but they also come to see how NASCAR officials marry their sport with some of the most beautiful scenery in the world. One has only to visit one of these monstrous events to understand. Tucked away in eastern Pennsylvania in the pristine Pocono Mountains is one of NASCARS premier race tracks, Pocono Raceway. Touted as the Prettiest, Friendliest and Cleanest race track in America, it is home to two NASCAR NEXTEL Cup races during the year. A fan-friendly track with grandstands over-looking a 3,750+ ft. Straight-away insures that the die-hard fan will see all the action. When the cars are not zooming by, the fan can appreciate the beauty of the area and its 'Back to the Good Old Days' attitude which is a prevalent theme everywhere in the area.
