What advancements have been made in NASCAR racing in the last 5 years?

Answered By Niles Hanssen, Editor

Most of the changes that have been made in Nascar for the last five years are concentrated on reaching new markets and venues. They have been on negotiating table to attract more sponsors. They are also on pursuit on getting more audience to be the sport's new fans by attracting more media outfits to cover series of race events. One of the major changes is the entrance of Sonoco who will be the new fuel supplier beginning the 2005 season.

Nascar is will also be introducing new series of cars that will be used on upcoming seasons, which are dubbed as Car of Tomorrow. Their new design is based on safety precautions implemented by Nascar which features reduced dependence on aerodynamics and improved handling.
