How many NASCAR races are in one reason?
Answered By Niles Hanssen, Editor
A Nascar season is composed of 36 races, which are held in ten months time duration. In 2004, Nascar introduced a new playoff system which is called the Chase for the Cup. After 26 races, the top 10 drivers in terms of points are considered to be eligible for the Chase. The same race layouts and points are still applied on the last 10 races. The driver who has the most points after the race # 36 is declared champion for the season.
